Kaitlyn Nguyen

Thank you for visiting my site! I’m a recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies and a minor in Professional Writing (Business Communication). 

 

I have deeply immersed myself in the sustainability community during my time in undergrad by serving as the Commissioner of Environmental Sustainability for the Associated Students President and working as an intern for UCSB Sustainability for 2 years. Aside from this, I enjoy serving my community, being a past President for a national co-ed service organization, Alpha Phi Omega and an Urban Restoration Coordinator for Your Children’s Trees nonprofit planting trees in the community of Goleta.

 

My environmental expertise includes technical laboratory skills, grant writing, and a strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA regulations. My professional writing expertise includes strategic public relations planning, business proposals, and other forms of multimedia. I believe in having holistic interests and specialties which for myself include graphic design and mental and physical well-being.
